Register online or by printing our registration form from our registration page and mailing it in to Eye-Q Two Cities Marathon, 7075 N Sharon Ave, Fresno, CA 93720. How do I know if I am registered? Online registrations are confirmed by email or you can check our registration page under "Am I Registered?" There is an error in my entry information. What should I do? E-mail us at twocitiesmarathon@yahoo.com or mail the correct information to: Eye-Q Two Cities Marathon, 7075 N Sharon Ave, Fresno, CA 93720. When and where do I pick-up my race packet? Race packet pick-up is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 6th or Saturday November 7 from 10:00 to 6:00 at Clovis Veterans Memorial Building, 808 4th Street, Clovis, CA 93612 See our Map page. I am not able to make it to race packet pick-up. What are my options? If you are not able to pick up your race packet you may have someone else pick up your packet using your confirmation card. If this is not an option for you either, email twocitiesmarathon@yahoo.com and we will have your race packet available 6 a.m. race morning at the start area. Is the Eye-Q Two Cities Marathon a Boston qualifier? Yes. The Eye-Q Two Cities Marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. Race results will be published online at www.RunFresno.com immediately following the race. We also e-mail our race results to the Boston Marathon officials for proof. What is the typical weather in November in Fresno? We boost very mild temperatures, little precipitation and wind. Our averages for November are as follows:
All participants must park in the parking lot at the South/West corner of Audubon and Friant directly across the street from Woodward Park and an easy walking distance to the start line at Audubon and Friant. What type of sport drink is available on the trail? Lemon-lime Gatorade and water is provided throughout the race course. Two GU stations will be located on the course as well. Can I use my iPod? Yes you may use your iPod for any of our events. The USATF has changed it's policy and now allows the use of headphones for running events. May I push a stroller/baby jogger in the race? No, for the safety of the runners, walkers and to you and your child, baby joggers are not allowed. What instructions do I need to know for my relay team? Relay team race instructions can be found online on our relay page and provided in your runner packets. Any additional relay questions will be answered by marathon committee members at the registration information booth. How do relay members get to the relay exchange sites? All relay participants must use the designated bus transportation to ensure runner safety throughout the event. Relay bus departure times will be included in the relay runners’ race packets. Who do I contact to volunteer? Click here for volunteer information or visit our volunteer page. I am injured, pregnant and/or no longer able to attend the race, can I get a refund? Entry fees are non-refundable. The only exception that will be made is for those who are on active military duty and are deployed for service. Submit a copy of deployment papers along with a mailing address to request the refund. Can I give/sell my registration to another person? No. Transferring your registration to another runner is not allowed. Can I switch from the marathon to the half marathon, or from the half to the full? Yes, you can switch events. After October 15th all changes must be made at the Expo. Are walkers allowed to participate? Yes, so long as they can finish in the 6-hour time limit. The course will close in 6 hours, and participants will be asked to move to the sidewalk. The finish area along with timing will remain open for 7 hours. Walkers must keep to the right so that runners may pass. Can spectators purchase the hot breakfast at the finish area? No, spectators are not able to purchase the participant's breakfast but food vendors will be available near the finish for the purchase of food and drinks for spectators. Will the awards ceremony be held at the park this year? Yes the victory party and awards ceremony will be held in Woodward Parks’s Amphitheater immediately following the race. Also included this year is the Michelob Celebration Beer Garden for those over 21 years of age. Will there be shuttle service to and from the hotels? Event shuttles will be available from the following hotels: Springhill Suites by Marriott, Homewood by Hilton, Holiday Inn Express, and Hampton Suites Where is the Pasta Dinner located? The all you can eat Pasta Dinner hosted by Dean Karnazes is on Saturday November 6 located at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District, 808 4th Street, Clovis, CA 93612. See our Expo map. The pasta dinner is an all you can eat buffet prepared by Diccico's Restaurant and costs $15 for adults and $8 for children. Dean will motivate you to your best marathon ever. Where is the Michelob Ultra Beer Garden located? The Michelob Ultra Celebration Beer Garden is inside the Apmitheater. You must be at least 21 years of age to enter the beer garden. Participants that are 21 years of age may receive up to 2 free beers. Identification will be required to be admitted.
