Time magazine named Dean Karnazes as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential People in the World." Men's Fitness hailed him as the fittest man on the planet. An internationally recognized endurance athlete and best-selling author, Dean has pushed his body and mind to inconceivable limits. He has run 350 continuous miles, foregoing sleep for three nights, He's run across Death Valley in 120-degree temperatures and he has run a marathon in the South Pole in negative 40 degrees. He's run a 200-mile relay race solo 10 times. He is also known for running 50 marathons in all 50 states, in 50 consecutive days, finishing with the NYC Marathon, which he ran in three hours flat. We are very pleased to announce the UltraMarathon Man Dean Karnazes will be our 2010 guest speaker!
We are changing our 4-person marathon relay to a 2-person Half Marathon Relay. Each leg will be approx 6.5 miles.
ALL marathon participants will receive a Free 2010 logo runner's hat. Half marathoners may still purchase our 2010 hats at our 2-day Health Expo.
